It is not surprising that Canada has historically maintained a solid foundation of defence cooperation with Denmark, recently demonstrated through this past summer’s training exercises held in the Canadian Arctic with HDMS Triton and operations such as the NATO-led Afghanistan and Libyan missions. Our countries are both founding members of NATO and are firmly committed to the Alliance and strong trans-Atlantic relations. To this end, I know the defence team of Maritime Forces Atlantic are looking forward to the visit of HDMS Niels Juel and its crew.[mappress mapid=”14473″]Press release, Image: Danish Department of Defence/youtube Back to overview,Home naval-today HDMS Niels Juel Pays Visit to Halifax, Canada View post tag: News by topic View post tag: americas View post tag: Canada View post tag: Naval View post tag: HDMS Niels Juel View post tag: Halifax View post tag: Visit Authorities November 18, 2014 View post tag: Pays Share this articlelast_img
