CRIMEWAVE CRACKDOWN: GARDAI ARREST TWO MORE BURGLARY SUSPECTS

first_imgGARDAI in Letterkenny have arrested two more crime suspects – taking the number of arrests to seven in less than 24 hours.Two men were arrested at the weekend after a substantial number of items were taken from a shed at the back of a house on the outskirts of the town at Carrygawley.Officers moved quickly after a tip-off and later arrested two men at the Neil T Blaney Road in the town. All the stolen items were recovered.The men are among EIGHT people who will appear at Letterkenny District Court on Monday charged with a range of offences.In the most serious incident in Bridgend on Sunday, two Garda officers were injured.They were later released from hospital.
