Hyundai upgrades the Eon by adding a touchscreen

first_imgKorean carmaker Hyundai has silently updated the Eon for the Indian market by giving it a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dubbing it the Sports edition.The Eon is available with a 0.8-litre petrol engine and a 1.0-litre petrol engine as well. However, the Sports edition of the car is only available with the smaller 0.8-litre engine and not the bigger 1.0-litre motor.Also Read:Hyundai rolls out 2017 model year Creta, adds a variantThe Sports edition of the car is available in the Era+ trim at a premium of about Rs 16,000 over the stock variant. It is also available with the Magna+ variant for a premium of about Rs 10,000 over the stock car. In the Sports edition of the Eon, Hyundai has made minimalistic changes. On the outside, the Eon gets sporty roof rails and graphics on the side body.
