POLICE LOG for April 1 Tractor Trailer Takes Down Wires Pole Injured

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, April 1, 2019:Owner of RMA Fitness reported 2 tractor trailer units were parked in his lot. Police responded and trucks were moved. (4:47am)Police issued a driver at citation at Route 125 and the 93 North Exit 41 on-ramp for “creating grid lock at an intersection.” (7:05am)A Westdale Avenue resident reported a fake parking citation was left on their windshield. Caller wanted incident logged. (10:12am)Animal Control Officer rescued young owl with a possible head injury at Speedway at Main Street. Bird was brought to Tufts Vet Hospital. (12:05pm)A caller reported a tractor trailer unit went down Burt Road, snapped telephone pole and broke wires, and continued toward Burlington. RMLD and Verizon notified. Road was closed for approximately an hour. Police unable to locate vehicle. (1:19pm)Police notified DPW of a mattress on the side of the road at Cunningham Street and Jacobs Street.
